From 8 June 2015, the paper counterpart to the UK photocard driving licence will not be valid and will no longer be issued by DVLA and, whilst they will still be valid, “old style” UK paper-based licences will no longer be annotated with endorsements. With effect from this date, any UK driving licence holders hiring a vehicle should ideally use “Share My Driving Licence”, the new online service from the DVLA, for validation of their driving record. The passcode, which will be valid for a maximum period of 72 hours from the point it is generated, must be presented and still be valid when picking up any rental vehicle. Any drivers unable to obtain a passcode should call the DVLA Customer Contact Centre on 0300 083 0013 (Mon – Fri 9am – 5pm).
Hirers will still need to bring in their licence AND this Passcode or Driving Licence Summary page (if they have printed it off).
Category B on your licence entitles you to drive:-
You will need to provide your full UK driving licence, either photo card or old paper style licence. If you only have the old paper style licence, we will also need to see another form of photo ID. We will also need your National Insurance Number in order to complete a DVLA check on line. CDW stands for Collision Damage Waiver; this reduces the hirer’s liability in the event that the vehicle is involved in a collision. Neither will the CDW nor the Insurance cover:
You can book online, over the phone or just come in. We advise booking early to avoid disappointment. We will need the following info at time of booking; Drivers name, contact phone number, email address and home address and deposit by bank card in the hirer’s name.
Unless you have specified extras to us your basic quote will include insurance cover for one driver, breakdown cover within the UK and 100 miles allowance per 24-hour hire period. Additional mileage will be calculated at 0.10p including VAT per mile.
By Debit or Credit card only and this can be done when you collect the vehicle or online. If you have a business account with us, then we can invoice you after the rental, speak to a member of staff for more details on setting up an account. (T&Cs)
Our deposit is minimum of £200.00, We accept credit/debit cards with the exception of AMEX. We also accept BACS payments for the deposit but all hire payments must be made by credit or debit card.
Our security deposit is minimum of £200.00 for UK hire, we will debit the deposit from a debit or credit card in the hirer name, please note it usually takes 3 / 4 working days to return your deposit. Deposit may increase for younger drivers, convictions, unemployed, on benefits, European hires, and non UK license holders and depending what the vehicle is used for.
Yes, someone else can pay, however the card holder/bill payer must come in at some point before the vehicle is collected to sign the Rental Agreement for any charges. They must bring photo ID and two recent proofs of address. If booked online then the card must be in the hirers name.
A full refund will be processed, less credit/debit card processing charges, for all UK based vehicle hire bookings cancelled up to 48 hours before the hire commences. Cancellations of less than 48hrs working days will be charged minimum £100.00 (The same applies for no shows and wrong documents or anything that will restrict us from carrying the booking out).
Unfortunately we are not able to amend bookings with less than 48 hours notice and the full rental agreement charge will remain payable. You are however welcome to return the vehicle earlier than the agreed return date and time.
All cancellations or amendments must be made in writing and confirmed by us.
Any cancelled European booking will be charged at £200.00, with less than 7 days noticed (the same applies for no shows and wrong documents or anything that will restrict us from carrying the booking out).

Yes, but it has to be arranged prior to collecting or booking, additional fee will be applied of £25.00 plus VAT per service. Staff will attend at the appointed time to check the vehicle in. Service subject to availability.
At the moment we don’t offer this service
If you want to travel in to Europe, no problem, but only with our permission agreed at least 7 days in advance. We will need 7 days’ notice to purchase a Euro Pack from our insurers and agents to prevent you being impounded at the borders. There are additional charges for European hire to cover the costs to us. Please contact us for a quote, we will need to know:

All of our vehicles are modern, safety checked on every return and serviced regularly, In the unlikely event that a vehicle breaks down, then rest assured that there is 24hr break down cover which will either get you to your destination, supply you with another vehicle or get you back to our depot.

Yes. We do offer business customers an account facility. You would need to apply for an account and receive approval prior to receiving Account Customer benefits.
All returns must be made by 4pm. Any early returns must be authorised and agreed by us at the time of rental.
